PREPARING MY NEW CD
My first CD alone was ”Re-Creacions”, on 2004.
During the year 2007, the CD “Els vents de la paraula”, where I made a collaboration, came out. And now, on December 2007, my newest collaboration, the CD “Elements” by Josep Prohens, will see the light.
The activity of an artist cannot get limited to the interpretation only, or to the pedagogy only, or to simple collaborations in other artist’s works.
A complete artist needs of all of these works together.
I can now anounce to you that about mid 2008 I plan to present my second CD alone.
The preparation phase has already began. The works that will be insert in that album have already been chosen. The pianist with whom I will be working and sharing this pleasure is also working on her part.
Right now we are in a preparatory period, studying, putting the works together. And the most important: defining the logistics of it all.
As typical musicians do, I am also a little bit supersticious. That’s why I cannot still unveil any more information about my new project, otherwise, something bad might frustrate this project. I hope you understand it.
In any case, dear friends, I will keep you posted about the project as soon as I can.
For now, just keep some free dates on Sumertime, to attend the presentation of my new album.

NEXT CONCERTS
-On December 16th 2007, the CD of the composer Josep Prohens will be presented at the Gran Hotel de La Fundación La Caixa, at Plaza Weyler, in Palma de Mallorca. We do not know yet at what time it will be, but it will probably take place in the morning.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
-On Friday September 21, 2007, we recorded a CD made of several works by Majorcan composer and director of the Conservatory Superior de las Illes Balears, Josep Prohens.
I recorded the violin part of the work “Homenatge a la tonalitat”, which was composed for me, and which I premiered in Spain, France, USA, Argentina and Brazil.
The pianist was professor Maria Tomàs.
-On September 29,2007, at 20.30 h, concert of violin and guitar, by María Antonia Pons-Estel (violin) and Guillem Noguera (guitar), at the Convent of San Francisco de Paula, Campos, Mallorca.
We played works by Paganini, Noguera, Ravel, Bach and Piazzola.
-On September 14,2007, concert by the Quattuor Allegretto, in Capdepera. The members of teh quattuor are: María Antonia Pons-Estel, violin I; Enrique Pastor, violin II; Gency Gjata, viola and Gabriel Fiol, violoncello.
The program included Mozart, Haydn and Schubert.
-On August 2, 2007, we made the presentation of the Orchestra “Camerata Son Servera”. I, myself, directed this String Orchestra. During this concert I also played as a soloist, together with professor Enrique Pastor. We performed the double concerto for two violins in A Major by Antonio Vivaldi.
The rest of the program included: Bach, Pachelbel, Bocherini, Grieg, Mozart and Strauss.
The concert took place at “S’Era de Pula”, Son Servera, Mallorca, at 23:00 h.
- On Saturday, July 21st 2007, I played a concert with the Orchestra Stravaganza, at 20:30 hours, at the Church of Sant Juan, Mallorca.
We played works by Strauss, Romero and Piazzola.
-On Friday, July 13th 2007, I performed as a member of the Orchestra Stravaganza, at 20:00 hours, at the Casa-Museu Llorenç de Villalonga, in Binissalem, Mallorca.
We performed works by Strauss, Romero and Piazzola.
